AML Council Condemns Spain Attacks/ President Trump Islamophobic Reaction

The American Muslim Leadership Council (AMLCouncil) Expresses its profound sympathy and condolences to the families of the victims of the Spain Terror Attacks. AML Council Strongly condemns the terror attacks, Terrorism has no Religion, and neither do they represent the True Islamic Values and Beliefs.
Furthermore, AML Council Condemns President Trump Irresponsible and Islamophobic response to the attack. Tweeting false information, while he took days to condemn the violence in Charlottesville, and saying NOTHING about the Bombing of an Islamic Center in Minnesota, will not help bring our nation together, but rather cause a bigger division, in a country that is in Need of a Leader that will bring US together NOT divide US more.
Yesterday Horrific events, reminded us that the US and the rest of the world face the real threat of terrorism.
Effective countering of terrorism requires Unity, Continues Dialogue and long term plan of action. Aml Council affirms that safety and security is a common responsibility of people and governments, therefore, we would like to urges all people of goodwill to work toward resolving conflicts. These conflicts contribute to the emergence of radicalization.
AML Council has been an advocate of open dialogue, round-table discussion between Interfaith Leaders, Law enfocment partners, Educators, and Community members at Large, and continues to urge such dialogue.
