The American Muslim Leadership Council (AML Council) held it’s 9th bridge the gap Roundtable at the American Muslim Leadership Council Center.
There was a great turnout and participation, from various law-enforcement, educators, interfaith leaders, healthcare providers, and community members at large.
The main focus of the round table was establishing communications, discussing vital current issues that face the community at large (such as homelessness and learning without hunger programs in the school district), and how to create better ways to continue the dialogue.
Furthermore, many participants expressed interest in receiving culture sensitivity training for their agencies, or organizations.
We would like to extend our gratitude to all the participants, and our partners.
The bridge the gap initiative text place semi annually and the next one will be scheduled for sometimes in early November
